Terms of Service

Last updated June 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Oprus (“Oprus”, “we”, “us”) at oprus.app. By using Oprus, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Oprus. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you’re authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Oprus: no disrupting or overloading the service, no unauthorized scraping or automated abuse, no attempts to breach security, no infringement of others’ rights, and no unlawful use. We may suspend or limit access that violates these Terms.

The service and tiers

Oprus is offered across tiers: Guest, Registered (free), and Paid (Pro). Features and limits vary by tier. Free tiers may display advertising.

Pro subscription, billing & renewal

Pro is a paid subscription (currently $5 per month) processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from your account or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and your Pro access continues until then. Prices may exclude taxes, which you’re responsible for where they apply. We may change prices or features with reasonable notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don’t provide credits for partial periods.

Changes to the service

We’re always improving Oprus and may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature, we’ll provide notice where reasonable.

Intellectual property

Oprus, including its name, design, software, and content, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to improve the service, without any obligation to you.

Third-party services

Oprus relies on third-party providers, including Clerk, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, and advertising partners. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we’re not responsible for them.

Disclaimer of warranties

Oprus is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. While we strive for accuracy, time, time-zone, and related data may contain errors, and you should not rely on Oprus for legal, medical, aviation, financial, or other critical purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oprus and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oprus and its operators from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination

You can stop using Oprus at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Oprus is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the service. Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, and we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above; material changes will be announced where appropriate, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
